Mr. and Mrs. At Last!

Well the wedding week and honeymoon week has come and gone and Jon and I couldnt be more happier to begin our lives together. We had an amazing time celebrating our love and lifting up the Lord at our wedding ceremony and reception. We are truly blessed with amazing friends and family that came to support us and who have continued to shower us with grace as we have returned home. The honeymoon was FANTASTIC! We were amongst God's infinite wonder for sure as we soaked up the sun in paradise. Returning home was bittersweet, since we didn't want to leave the wonderful relaxation but were anxious to be home.
It has almost been a week now since we have returned and by looking at our house, you would not be able to notice that. As we work on the house everyday when we get off work, we still feel like none of the boxes are moving... This is a very slow process. We hope to have things in order by the weekend... Prayers are needed! Since I have been busy trying to get our home in order, uploading picutres of our wonderful wedding and honeymoon have been put aside. Pictures are coming I can assure you.

Wedding week is here!!!!!!!!!!!

Wedding week is finally here!!! I am so excited for this upcoming event that I have sloo full emotions. Yesterday, we went to hear Dad preach and I barely made it through the service, well let me change that, I did not make it through the service without crying like a kid. I just don't know but I have had an overwelming mix of emotions between excitement, joy, and tears. I hope that I can get all of my crazy emotions out before the weekend or I will be a pretty funny looking bride crying the whole time. Jon on the other hand had a wonderful weekend at the beach with the groomsmen. They got to hang out on the water, deep sea fishing. They sure did catch a lot of fish. We are planing a fish fry soon for us to eat it all because there is no way I am eating fish for a year! :)
We are so blessed with such great friends and families that this week I am sure is going to fly by. We thank everyone who has supported us throughout our engagement. We cant wait to see you all and celebrate on Friday and Saturday!!

Happy Friday!!! (15 days)

Well its a HAPPY FRIDAY here in Auburn since we are now 15 days away from the best day ever, JULY 7 !!!! The details are all slowly beginning to come together, we have met with the florist, caterer, wedding coordinator, photographer, everyone is on board with the plans and looking forward to the wedding. Jon and I are really excited about the upcoming two weeks. During the next two weeks, My Dad is going on ASP - prayers for a great trip and safe travels, he has also been under the weather some so healing hands he is needing; Jon goes on his bachelor trip- of course these boys would go sooooo close to the wedding and make me a nervous wreck, no repeat of the hangover please; Mom and I will be working on reception pieces and decorating; I will be packing my bags for the best trip ever, HONEYMOON!!! So as you can see its a busy two weeks, but we are so EXCITED!!!

25 Days!!!!!

With only 25 days left before the wedding I thought I would share some pictures from the weekend full of showers/parties for Jon and Me. We had a great time at the Hines House of BBQ on Friday night (see picutes above) and then at the Around the House shower in Columbus at the Illges's home.(pictures to come) we had a great turn out at both and were showered with lots of gifts that are sitting nicely in our home, waiting for the BIG DAY so we can use them. I have loved everything we have received so far and am so excited to have them in our home!

30 Days!!!!

30 days to go!!!

I don't know if I can even sum up how excited we are to be getting married. After becoming engaged on Thanksgiving of 2011, it seemed like this day would take forever to get here and now that there are only a few weeks left it is flying by. We have been blessed in sharing with family and friends at many Teas/Showers/Parties. We have two more this weekend and can't wait to celebrate with everyone coming.

You know its funny how things always turn out right when you trust in the Lord. Had Jon and I not experienced our past we would have never made it to this point in our lives and probably would have never even met. His grace is ever present in our lives and that why we are Fastening our Faith, because we have learned that this road might get bumpy at times.

I am excited to share our life as the McDonalds with you, I hope you join us for the ride.
